Before this afternoon my only worry was making sure my financial aid situation got settled. At the time it seemed dire important. It determines whether i take classes or no this semster, so it does have some importance. Then I got a phone call that changed my definition of importance. A guy I used to laugh at...and when I say laugh at I mean this guy was a huge joke between me and a friend...he is in a coma. He may have brain damage. He may be paralyzed. I can only hope he comes out okay, but that doesnt look likely. A very good friend of mine got arrested. I like him... I like him alot. And now I get to help him move out of tuscaloosa. Another good friends, whom many of you know, got mugged. The world is crumbling and while I claim to be no great hope I do say this...do what you can for this sad excuse for a nation. Because it needs it.

Hope everyone had a good one. I feel completely spoiled now. I got an iPod and a new CD player for my car cause mine totally died earlier this year. I also now have 4 controllers for my Wii now...always good. Its been one of the best Christmases ever...for more reasons than just the presents. 0nly downside is right now i am extremely tired, I ate waaaay too much, and for some reason after installing my CD player my turn signals don't work.
So yeah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa/Hanukkah/Holidays...whatever. Oh yeah, and listen to some James Brown.

It's either dorm death, or just allergies. Either way my head feels like its full of cotton balls or something. I sound really funny too. I felt worse yesterday, though. Which means I am improving =) I'm glad I stock up on medicine so that it is already on hand when the time comes. At least I'm sick now and not next week. Next week is fall break and I get to see Eric Clapton =)

I had a really bad migraine earlier. Naturally, the only the I want to do is sleep it off. After taking some medicine and letting some of the migraine go away, I drifted off. This is at about 4:10. I called work at some point, but I don't quite remember what I said. Trina came in at 6-ish. I slept more while she cooked, and woke up to eat. I'd say it was around 8 that I finished eating and went back to bed. Andrew called at about midnight. I talked to him, then went back to sleep. I woke up on my own at 3:45. All in all, that's a damn good bit of sleep. The downside is it's 4:30 and I'm up =P I've been trying not to nap lately, but there wasn't much I could do about it today. One day my sleep schedule will get back to normal.

Its kinda bad when you can't sleep without some sort of sleep aid. Tonight, it's wine. I got cork in it when I opened it. That sucks. It's "organic wine" WTF? I hope all of my wine is made of real grapes. Its actually not that great either, but I had to give organic wine a try.
I have made a mess of things over the past few months =P The newest in my mess of things is I think I may need to drop one of my easiest classes. Simply because as hard as I tried, I could not get my hands on a particular book I needed to write a paper. Paper is past due, teacher is showing little mercy, so uhm, I think I'm screwed. I am never gonna graduate. I just don't see how I can keep this up.
On the upside, it is Talk like a Pirate Day or something like that. Ahoy and all that pirate jazz =) Walk the gorram plank!

I can't seem to stay well this month. I hate February. I also love how the phrase "upper respiratory infection" means "we don't know WHAT you have, but your white blood cell count is like WAAAAY up...which means its bacterial...and your ears, throat, and chest hurt....hmm....yeah, your infected in the upper respiratory area...somewhere....uhm,yeah."
And, to treat this mystery, the solution is a shot in the butt of the worlds strongest antibiotics...so strong that after administering it they're like "yeah, you can't leave for a while, cause we wanna make sure you don't get like hives, or something."
Fortunately I stayed hive free, although it hurt to sit for a while.
And my ear and throat and chest still hurt, and I slowly slip more and more behind in class. At least its all excused.
Sorry, that wasn't the happiest LJ post ever. But sometimes, you have to vent that even the one doctor you reeeeally trust is also just guessing.

I had to take my little kitty in for shots. She hated the car ride, and REALLY hated the little pill they had to give her. She has little round worms =( apparently thats normal for kittens, but I wish I had known...I woulda taken her in a little sooner.
For those who don't know about my new pet, she's a short haired "calico"...I put it in parenthesis cause she's kinda funny colored, but in a very pretty way. Her name is Susannah.
i will post pictures of her as soon as I figure out why my camera isn't working =P
As for anything else awesome in life...schools back in, I'm also working as a waitress, and I have to go to a group project meeting thing really late tonight. Other than that...not much going on.

Heh, I kinda forgot about this thing. Like, completely. I also haven't been on AIM in like 6 months either so...yeah, here's where I say "HEY EVERYONE IN BHAM WE SHOULD TOTALLY HANG OUT OMG!!!!1!!11"
I miss people who do stuff other than play World of Warcraft. Very badly.
Kelly...we gotta get together dude. Sorry I suck so bad at staying in contact with people.
Oh and here's a little bit of advice for a few of my loved ones out there:
1. No matter how awesome your blue shield on WoW is, I don't care.
2. Hitting level 60 is another way of saying "I picked this over reading some good books, or, ya know, studying or hanging with friends, etc."
3. A game can be fun. Especially an mmorpg. But the word GAME needs to maintain its meaning.
Just had to get that off my chest. Anyone who wants should give me a call! *mwah* Happy New Year guys!
(PS: My New Year's Resolution: do a better job keeping up with friends who are not in Tuscaloosa)

So I unistalled World of Warcraft. Granted I don't really feel like I was every reeeally hooked, but I just think pouring so much time into a game is rather worthless. Not that I look down on people who do pour lotsa time into games, I just don't wanna do it anymore. I got alot of reading to do...I need to hop on that
My mom is sooo fucking slow. Either that or she knows how to get me irritated. She asked me the same questions at least 10 times just now, each time I gave her the same answers...and she still didn't comprehend. Some people were not meant to have technologically advanced things...she's one of them.
*sigh* people need to come down to Tuscaloosa. Getting to Birmingham is becoming an impossibility =P Stupid car.

Tonight was teh awesome. Got an ice cream cone for $1.03, grabbed Blake's crotch, Quin's ass, downed some booze, and did the white tornado. Can I really ask more out of a Tuesday night?
My car is dying. It's a slow death, most likely trasmission. This does not bode well. Right now all it is doing is making a funny noise...the RPMs stopped jumping after replacing all the spark plugs.
So yeah, that's my update. Birmingham people need to come to fuckin' t-town. Now.
